Henningsvær Stadium

Henningsvær Stadium is quite a unique football stadium.   The stadium is located on a picturesque island in the small Norwegian fishing village of Henningsvær and is surrounded by breathtaking scenery with steep mountains, fish drying racks, lighthouses, fishermen cabins and the ocean.   The stadium has no stands and is mostly used for amateur football. It is open to the public, except when reserved for training, games, tournaments, or media events.  

History of Henningsvær Stadium

Henningsvær Stadium emerged from a vision to create a sports arena that harmonizes with the breathtaking coastal landscape of northern Norway. This ambitious project sought to create a place where sports, nature, and culture seamlessly coexist. The stadium serves as a multifunctional venue, hosting a variety of sports events, cultural gatherings, and outdoor activities.
