Wanda Metropolitano is a well-known soccer stadium in Madrid, Spain. It's the new home ground for Atlético Madrid and was also used as a venue for the 2019 Copa América. The stadium was first opened on September 16th, 2017 and it has a capacity of 67,703 seats.

The stadium’s architecture is inspired by Mies Van Der Rohe’s Barcelona Pavilion and features an elegant exterior with metal and glass panels. There are four levels of seating inside the stadium including a suite level which can hold up to 1,200 spectators and club seats that seat up to 1,700 people. You can also find two tiers of uncovered seating where you can view the game from behind protective netting or higher up in an uncovered section at eye level with the pitch.

Out of all the soccer stadiums in Europe, Wanda Metropolitano is one of the most beautiful. The architects did a great job designing this classy stadium with incredible views. As soon as you walk in you'll notice how spacious everything feels and how there are so many different viewing options around the venue. There's something for everybody who loves watching soccer!

How to get to the stadium

The stadium is located in the Arganzuela neighborhood of Madrid, on Andalusí Avenue. The stadium is easy to reach by public transportation. The metro station closest to the Wanda Metropolitano stadium is the Arganzuela, which can be reached by taking line 10 and getting off at "Metropolitano" stop.
